Step Into a Coaching Role With Built-In Demand

Club Coops is Brisbane’s only private members-only health and racquet club, where tennis, wellness, and lifestyle come together to create a premium member experience.

Following significant growth across their membership, they are now seeking a Senior Lead On-Court Tennis Coach to join the team.

With multiple pages of members already on the waitlist, this is a rare opportunity to step into immediate demand and build a strong coaching base from day one.

At Club Coops, you’ll coach in an environment where:

  • Members are engaged, committed, and long-term

  • Tennis is central to the club’s identity and legacy

  • Programs are part of a broader premium lifestyle offering

  • There is genuine opportunity to grow your coaching and private lesson base

This is not a volume coaching model.

You’re not filling hours, you’re building relationships and becoming part of a community.

The Role

This is a senior, on-court coaching role focused on delivering high-quality tennis experiences across our member programs.

You’ll work within a structured program led by our coaching leadership team, allowing you to focus on what matters most: great coaching, consistency, and genuine member connection.

The Opportunity
  • Immediate start available

  • Above-market earning potential

  • Strong private coaching opportunities

  • Structured, supportive coaching team

  • Premium, members-only club environment

You will deliver:
  • Adult programs (beginner through to advanced)

  • First-time tennis experiences for new members

  • Junior coaching pathways (Hot Shots: Blue, Red, Orange, Green through to Yellow Ball)

You’ll also have the opportunity to build a strong private coaching base within an engaged and growing membership.

This is a role built around presence, professionalism, and pride in your craft.

What Makes This Different
  • Immediate access to high member demand (active waitlist)

  • Strong casual rates: $45–$65+ super (based on experience), with clear progression available

  • Flexible roster (approx. 15–25 hours per week)

  • Structured programs — no need to build from scratch

  • Opportunity to grow private lessons quickly

Shifts could typically include: (but flexible)

  • Mornings: 8:00am – 11:30am

  • Evenings: from 4:00pm-6.30/7pm

  • Weekends: Saturday mornings

This role can suit someone balancing other work, coaching, or lifestyle commitments.

Who This Role Suits

We’re looking for a coach who:

  • Is confident on court and has strong tennis ability

  • Enjoys working with both adults and juniors

  • Takes pride in delivering a high-quality session, every time

  • Brings energy, reliability, and professionalism

  • Values being part of a team and contributing to club culture

You don’t need to be a high-performance or head coach.

What matters most is your ability to connect with members and deliver consistently great sessions.

Requirements
  • Tennis coaching qualification (Tennis Australia preferred)

  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

  • Police Check

  • First Aid & CPR

  • Strong on-court playing ability

  • Additional qualifications (e.g. ATPCA) are highly regarded.

We also value candidates from premium, service-led environments, including fitness, hospitality, or member-based businesses.
