The Event Vehicle Specialist (DJ) works closely with the SA Marketing & Sales teams to build and execute an exciting Event Vehicle (EV) program across the state that engages local consumers to drive Brand love and Can love. You'll be the friendly face (and soundtrack) of Red Bull on the road. You will be responsible for connecting with local communities, supporting the state Field Marketing & Sales teams in finding new opportunities; ensuring executional excellence; providing feedback on venue/outlet execution; having product availability to drive trial, and supporting event operations.

The workload will divided across up to 3-4 shifts per week (30 hours per week) and must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Job Description

Manage an Exciting Consumer-Facing Event Vehicle Program

Work cross-functionally to support Red Bull events with the Event Vehicle (EV), including planning with, and reporting to, the Field Marketing team.
DJing multiple genres, performing live with different equipment, curating DJ lineups for events, liaising and managing DJs and DJ equipment.
Source DJs on a contractor basis for vehicle operations when needed.
Identify new opportunities for EV that support business functions and align with state and national strategy.
Support various third-party events with the EV - from planning and liaison through to brand representation onsite.
Keep the can at the heart of the EV program, maintaining cold cans at arm’s reach.
Build an exciting social presence for the EV, capturing and sharing content across managed channels.
Manage stakeholders to maintain and improve relationships across sales and marketing activities, e.g., key On Premise venues.
Work with the Field Marketing team to build relationships with grassroots communities and identify opportunities (e.g., Bike, Fitness, Team Sports).

Marketing Innovation with the Event Vehicle Program

Within the Sales & Marketing plan, find new opportunities to excite consumers using the EV — new networks, events or scenes appealing to 18–24-year-olds in key occasions/audiences.
Be creative and innovative, proactively working with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life where aligned with state strategy.
Collaborate on new initiatives that surprise consumers with the EV (e.g., athlete projects) and create engaging, sharable moments.

Maintain Vehicle Operations

Manage EV service schedules and ensure all operators have completed required training.
Conduct regular vehicle audits to identify and address repairs or servicing needs.
Update the State Marketing Planner to give a transparent annual overview of all events and EV commitments.
Deliver timely and engaging planning and reporting to keep the program top-of-mind for internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with interstate EV Specialists to share successes and strengthen the national program.

Qualifications

Availability to work evenings and weekends around the events calendar. (Essential)
Have a valid Australian driver’s license (Essential)
DJ experience with Pioneer DJ equipment (comfortable using CDJ 2000s and DJM750 mixer) (Essential)
Exceptional organisation, time management and people management skills
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling AV equipment solo (Essential)
Basic to intermediate understanding of audio-visual equipment used in the current event landscape
Ability to adapt to challenging situations and make quick, effective decisions
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable with computer and IT programs (Microsoft Office)
