Job Summary/Description:  

Eastern Carolina’s #1 news station, WITN News, is seeking a skilled Promotions Coordinator. The Promotions Coordinator will develop and produce creative concepts that support the station's news and weather brand image. This position will fulfill a variety of multimedia functions, which include shooting, editing video, writing, and conceptualizing creative station promotions and other station projects. A candidate should have a strong eye for production value and truly enjoy creative thinking and visual problem-solving.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Protect and improve the station's brand image at all customer touch points
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under a deadline
• Produce on-air News and Weather promotions and client commercials
• Event organization and set-up
• Work closely with the news department and station talent
• The qualified candidate will take projects from concept through completion
• Set up and shoot Friday night high school football for on-air broadcast

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1-2 years of video production experience and a college degree preferred
• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Professional shooting skills with digital or ENG-style cameras and lighting equipment
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to most situations
• Self-starter skills
• Clean driving records, a motor vehicle check will be run
