The West Coast Eagles is an iconic Australian sporting brand with over 100,000 members. In its 35-year history, the club has played in six Grand Finals and won four of these (1992, 1994, 2006 and 2018). In 2019 the team launched its own WAFL team followed by an AFLW team in 2020. The club also has wide-spanning community and regional programs and is invested in a number of charity organisations including the Waalitj Foundation.
About the role
This is a 12 month contract (maternity cover) based in Port Hedland (Pilbara). The Youth Engagement Coordinator is responsible for leading the strategic direction, stakeholder collaboration and program supervision of youth programs within the Town of Port Hedland and surrounding Pilbara communities. This role will lead and support the facilitation and development of programs and services to support young people which will include overseeing the coordination of youth activities to the wider community.
