  •   Job Description - Tennis Court Attendant

    Part-Time (10-15 hours per week)
    Rate: $10 - $15 per hour


    Responsible for monitoring the public use of the Lee County School System tennis courts during open court hours and ensuring the cleanliness and proper upkeep of the tennis courts before, during, and after use.

     
    • Greet guests with a friendly attitude and provide prompt assistance as needed. Be attentive to needs and ensure they have a positive experience.
    • Regularly inspect the tennis area to ensure it is clean and well-maintained. This includes the courts and surrounding areas. Address any issues promptly, and report any maintenance requirements to the appropriate department.
    • Be prepared to provide information about the courts to interested guests.
    • Efficiently manage court attendance, ensuring safe play and good conduct by all guests. 
    • Help guests find appropriate matches based on skill level and availability if needed.
    • Actively promote tennis-related events, tournaments, and social gatherings to enhance the overall tennis experience for guests.
     

    Encourage guests to provide feedback on their experience and use this information to improve the quality of services offered.

    Qualifications Profile
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Knowledge about the rules of tennis required
    • Previous experience in playing tennis preferred.
