The Senior Manager of Gaming Marketing will lead the development and execution of regional, gaming-focused marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with global and national priorities. This role will drive innovation, oversee large-scale programs, and provide strategic guidance across multiple key markets.

Working closely with the Manager, the Senior Manager will use events, partnerships, and community engagement to enhance Red Bull’s presence in gaming culture, deliver measurable business impact, and strengthen the brand’s relevance among gamers.

Job Description

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP & PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Define and lead the regional gaming marketing strategy, ensuring that it is aligned with national and global objectives.

Oversee the planning and execution of high-impact gaming activations, including major events, partnerships, and owned properties.

Serve as the executive sponsor for key projects, managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams from concept through completion.

Identify emerging trends, technologies, and cultural shifts to inform long-term strategy and maintain Red Bull’s leadership position in gaming.

Develop innovative, distinctive gaming concepts that drive brand differentiation and resonate with both local and regional audiences.

COMMUNITY & PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Build and maintain strategic relationships with leaders in the gaming community, including influencers, content creators, and industry partners.

Expand Red Bull’s presence in gaming environments such as LAN centers, university campuses, and esports venues through credible and authentic activations.

Collaborate with the Brand, On-Premise, and Media Network teams to incorporate gaming into broader marketing initiatives and consumer touchpoints.

Lead programs that energize and inspire local players, strengthening Red Bull’s position as a key supporter of gaming culture.

TALENT STRATEGY & INTEGRATION

Lead the strategy for identifying and developing gaming opinion leaders and players.

Collaborate with the Gaming Player Marketing and Media Network teams to design and execute campaigns and events driven by talent.

Ensure the smooth integration of gaming talent into Red Bull’s own and third-party activations, in order to maximize reach and engagement.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in gaming and esports marketing, with a proven record of strategic leadership and execution of large-scale programs.

Extensive knowledge of the global and regional esports ecosystem, including publishers, teams, leagues, and emerging trends.

Proven ability to design and implement innovative marketing strategies that generate measurable business results.

Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior executives.

People management experience, including a strong track record in hiring, training, and motivating teams.

Strong financial acumen, with experience managing complex budgets and resource allocations.

Advanced proficiency in project management and business planning tools, along with excellent presentation and communication skills.

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $132,572 - 198,858 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
