Responsibilities:
Create, revise and distribute all pertinent show documents for entire production staff
Keep fast paced control room environment organized and informed
Deal with a significant amount of script revisions in a very limited time frame
Qualifications
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
1+ years experience working in News or other similar fast-paced live broadcast deadline environment
2+ years experience in Television Production
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Final Draft and Scriptation
Must commit to entire season and be ready and available to work long hours and weekends
References from previous employers required
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Desired Characteristics:
Associates or bachelor’s degree in television, Journalism or Communications preferred
Knowledge of iNews computer-based television Production Program
Must be detail oriented
Must be organized
Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize in very busy situations
Demonstrate good “people skills” in order to interact with co-workers and producers
Strong Grammar skills, accurate spelling and neat, clear handwriting a must
Additional Requirements:
Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Hourly salary range: $17.50 - $20.00
The candidate who fills this position will be paid at least 60 hours per week regardless of whether they work less than 60 hours.
