The NFL is hiring a Sales Planner, a position that resides in the Pricing and Planning Department.  This candidate will work closely with the NFL.com Digital Media Sales department in selling and servicing new and existing national and corporate sponsorships to direct clients and advertising agencies. A successful candidate should have solid knowledge of the media industry, strong media math skills, excellent analytical & organizational abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the media sales account executives, marketing, social and production teams on RFPs, to build custom high-impact, cross platform brand solutions to live across NFL Network, NFL live streaming properties, NFL social, NFL.com, m.NFL.com, NFL Mobile.
  • Lead communications between the Pricing and Planning team and the Integrated Sales and Marketing team.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns throughout the season to ensure delivery and proactively troubleshoot concerns to minimize NFL Media’s liability.
  • Review agency Insertion Orders and Revised Insertion Orders to ensure elements and terms are approved.
  • Oversee and help manage the Digital Pricing and Planning Assistants.
  • Assist the media sales account executives with creating the campaign recap decks.
  • Work with Accounting Department to resolve contract discrepancies and invoice adjustments
  • Work in conjunction with Digital Media to identify upcoming programs and sponsorships
  • Work with Research Department to develop and maintain ratings, estimates, and customized research presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships with advertising agency personnel

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year College or University
  • 3-5 years of experience in media sales or advertising agency in planning, buying or account group
  • Comprehensive knowledge of media math
  • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with digital platforms- GAM, Prisma, DCM, etc.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:

  • Full-time employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the New York office.

Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

$70,000$74,000 USD
