The Role

We’re seeking a Referee Support Officer to play a key role within our Referee Department. You’ll support junior referees and assist with the administration, allocation, training, and development of match officials across WA competitions.

  • Appointing referees to matches and managing scheduling or availability issues.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for referees, clubs, and associations.
  • Managing referee registrations, accreditation support, and database accuracy.
  • Assisting with education and training programs, including course delivery and resource development.
  • Helping drive continuous improvement within the Referee Department.
  • Supporting junior referees, including those in our Cadet Program.
  • Responding to customer queries and CRM tickets.
  • Promoting a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment for all participants.

About You

If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of growing the game across the state — this role is for you.

  • Knowledge of the IFAB Laws of the Game (desirable).
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Holds (or able to obtain) a Working With Children Check.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and make quick decisions.
  • Strong customer service background with confidence handling a wide range of enquiries.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends as required.
