Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the 360 Project Management Marketing Team in the planning, development, execution, and delivery of Marketing Assets used to market the brands and shows of NBC Entertainment on multiple platforms, including but not limited to: paid advertising, promotion, organic and paid social media, OOO, and linear and digital distribution platforms (Peacock, Press, Affiliate Marketing, NBC app, VOD, Hulu, Roku, Apple TV, etc.). This will be in addition to financial and legal responsibilities associated with the projects. The ideal candidate will be a creative, motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, winning attitude, appreciation for data, and a solutions-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:

Financial responsibilities, including but not limited to: submitting and coding invoices for payment, attending weekly accounts payable meetings to resolve and troubleshoot problem invoices in SNAP, onboarding and setting up vendors in financial systems, accruals and backup paperwork, creating and editing monthly reclass submissions, music accrual tracking, freelancer forecasting and actualization, working with PMs to make sure all estimates and actuals are accurate, etc.
Set up show-specific team Slack channels, Basecamp projects, and Dropbox folders
Schedule all roundtables, kickoffs, brainstorms, creative reviews, CD connects, pre-pros, transfer meetings and presentations to leadership
Provide support and recording in meetings, resulting in clear communication and concrete follow-up action items to distribute to stakeholders
Pull the links of finished promos for a variety of reasons: Monday Video Meeting, Weekly Football and other big sporting events weekly schedules, Cable, DEI, etc.
Pull clips for Sizzle Reels (working with the post team and creatives), i.e., Comcast Earning Reels / NCTA / Content London, Award Shows, etc.
Partner with the PMs on Radio Project Management be supplying creative information, assets, and creative feedback to vendor, approval of scripts and final spots, and trafficking of spots
Involvement in the Q.C. all final deliverables for Key Art, Digital, Motion Graphics
Maintain Graphics look document with all updated show looks, version, and language information
Manage and traffic all non-paid packages digital assets including DKA, DDKA, Media Village, VOD, Affiliates, OneApp, Promotions, Product Marketing, EST, and Symphony, working with the PM
Gather assets needed for Decks / Agencies / Internal Communications / Meetings
Help with any special projects and support the Project Management team as needed

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Strong project management, prioritization, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

Comfortable with uncertainty but with the drive to establish a structured approach
Able to juggle many priorities while maintaining good attention to detail and a positive, collaborative attitude
Previous Broadcast, Cable, Agency, Post-Production or Finance experience

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
