The Operations Lead, Office of the CFO, serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Chief Financial Officer. Acting as the CFO’s chief of staff, this individual drives alignment, execution, and communication across the League’s financial and strategic priorities. The role is both strategic and operational, balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on management of initiatives that advance the NFL’s mission and the CFO’s vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic advisor and right hand to the CFO, advancing her priorities across her oversight areas including Finance, League Strategy, NFL Network & NFL Digital.
- Lead and coordinate key initiatives from concept through successful execution in partnership with the CFO’s senior leadership team.
- Attend key internal and external meetings with the CFO keeping comprehensive notes to ensure timely follow-ups and coordination of next steps.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring effective communication and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and optimize processes, systems, and workflows to drive efficiency and accountability across the CFO’s organization.
- Prepare and support the CFO for key meetings and engagements through research, briefing materials, and presentation development.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Office of the CFO, ensuring smooth execution and administrative excellence.
- Partner with the CFO’s senior leadership team on materials for League committees, ownership, and executive meetings, including:
- Developing and refining presentations, memos, and communication materials
- Managing timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
- Coordinating information flow to and from the CFO
- Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and key data for the Office of the CFO.
- Support the Executive Assistant in managing the CFO’s schedule and priorities, ensuring focus on high-impact meetings, relationships, and initiatives.
- Manage ad hoc projects and special requests from the CFO as needed.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- Employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the office. This role will require additional hours as needed (late nights, weekends).
Salary / Pay Range
