Job Description
The NBCU Local HQ Marketing team comprises members based in New York, Chicago, Stamford, and Dallas. They focus on various areas, including Brand Management, Streaming Platforms, Regional Sports Networks’ Marketing and Creative Services, Graphic Design, and Syndication. Working closely with the 43 O&O NBC and Telemundo stations, four RSNs, NBC News and other business units and departments across the NBCU portfolio, the team offers comprehensive coverage and support.
The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of multiplatform marketing campaigns across NBC and Telemundo stations, FAST channels, and Regional Sports Networks (RSNs). The role focuses on operational efficiency, campaign organization, creative asset management, and departmental reporting. This position ensures that all marketing activities are delivered on schedule, on brand, and with precision. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a passion for marketing, news, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Campaign and Project Coordination
Support day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns, including tentpoles such as Clear the Shelters, PAWS, Local Impact Grants, and Supporting Our Schools
Coordinate delivery schedules, approvals, and file management for creative assets and promotional materials
Update campaign trackers, maintain shared drives, and manage internal project documentation
Support station partners and local news departments with material requests, trafficking, and delivery
Asset Management & Distribution
Manage asset organization, tagging, and archiving across internal systems (e.g., Wide Orbit, shared servers, etc.)
Ensure accurate and timely distribution of creative toolkits and localized materials to NBC and Telemundo stations
Track completion status for asset delivery and report any discrepancies to the Marketing Manager
Research, Reporting, and Analytics Support
Assist with campaign performance summaries and reporting dashboards
Support the Ad Ops and Research teams in data collection for post-campaign analysis
Maintain project documentation, timelines, and KPI summaries for ongoing review
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Work closely with Creative Services, ensuring asset readiness and creative version tracking
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Corporate Communications, Audience Development, AdOps) for marketing material fulfillment
Participate in status meetings and provide updates on campaign progress
Administrative and Operational Support
Help manage billing, purchase orders, and vendor documentation for marketing projects
Support department-wide scheduling and coordination for events, shoots, and meetings
Assist in compiling content and visuals for internal presentations and reports
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or media (internship or assistant-level experience accepted)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with digital and social marketing concepts
Experience using project management or asset tracking systems (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Wide Orbit)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a collaborative environment
·Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
