NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution is responsible for the licensing and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media platforms in the U.S., Canada and in over 200 territories internationally. NBCUniversal’s content portfolio includes a vast and diverse library of more than 6,500 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, kids, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios, Sky Studios, NBC Late Night properties, DreamWorks Animation, Telemundo, and more, as well as locally produced content from around the world. Overview:
Our team is seeking a Manager, Sales Optimization to support the greenlight and content valuation process for new and returning titles across scripted, non‑scripted, and film content, with a core focus on first‑run series. This role sits at the intersection of creative evaluation and operational execution, helping inform strategic decisions that impact international sales potential across our global portfolio. This position will report to the VP, Sales Optimization.
Responsibilities:
Script Evaluation & Greenlight Support
Read scripts, pitch materials, and creative documents to help develop preliminary international sales estimates.
Identify and evaluate comparable titles across the entertainment landscape to help contextualize international performance expectations.
Support the development and proposal of international and domestic sales estimates to the GTVD leadership team, ensuring alignment before submission to stakeholders.
Tracking & Sales Performance Management
Assist in tracking how titles are performing against initial greenlight estimates across all territories.
Maintain updated grids, trackers, and summaries reflecting closed deals, pending activity, and remaining upside relative to targets.
Partner with Sales to understand deal progress and ensure internal systems reflect accurate, real‑time status.
Administrative & Operational Responsibilities
Input estimates, assumptions, and supporting documents into internal systems with precise documentation and backup.
Learn and maintain proficiency in internal systems to run reports, extract data, and support the overall greenlight process.
Ensure consistency and accuracy across files, reports, and cross‑functional tools.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather information and support evaluation of potential titles.
Prepare materials, summaries, and data for internal meetings.
Market & Industry Awareness
Maintain broad knowledge of the entertainment landscape, including global TV trends, talent awareness, genres, and platform strategies.
Maintain awareness of competitive shows, genres, talent, and platform strategies to support the identification of relevant comps.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the entertainment, media, or television distribution industry.
Advanced Excel proficiency is required, with demonstrated experience using formulas, data manipulation, and building and maintaining trackers.

Strong interest in global entertainment with broad awareness of TV, streaming, talent, and content trends.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable balancing creative evaluation with administrative responsibilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify meaningful comps and interpret qualitative and quantitative information.
Ability to manage trackers, analyze progress against targets, and work with data related to sales performance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in entertainment, content valuation, or scripted evaluation a plus.

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
