The NFL is seeking to hire a Manager of Global Sports Betting, who will be a key contributor to the NFL’s cross-functional legalized sports betting (“LSB”) working group and initiatives. This person will work collaboratively across the organization, driving success in support of the NFL’s four key objectives in LSB: Continuing to Protect the Integrity of the game, advancing the NFL’s brand and reputation, driving global fan engagement, and growing the Value of the NFL’s data and IP.
Overview/Objective
This role will support the NFL’s gaming growth and strategy, advancing LSB initiatives and partnerships across the League and its 32 member clubs. This person must have a deep understanding of sports betting, gaming, and fantasy sports, along with a sense of the general sports business landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Project Support / Coordination: Serve as a key contributor within the LSB working group to ensure cross-org alignment in LSB and advance strategic planning and execution of the NFL’s approach to Sports Betting and other gambling-related categories.
- Support development of LSB cross-org plan and submissions for strategic business planning processes
- In partnership with key departments (e.g., Media, Sponsorship, Data & Analytics), track LSB objectives, metrics, and targets with robust strategic plans to deliver against goals
- Support with the development and creation of all LSB presentation materials, including drafting memos and developing executive-level presentations
- Support processes to evaluate potential changes to the NFL’s gambling policies and content integration guidelines
- Research LSB market trends and key developments (e.g., M&A, operator metrics)
- Industry Analysis: Provided quantitative analysis in Excel, including management of key deliverables such as:
- Market sizing (e.g., state-by-state market model)
- Industry market data (e.g., Handle, GGR per adult, LSB state tax revenues, operator market share)
- Fan engagement metrics (e.g., NFL betting activity, LSB geolocation activity in/around NFL stadiums)
- Fan segmentation (e.g., analyses related to fan survey data based on betting propensity
- Industry-specific topics (e.g., operator marketing and promotional analysis and revenue/spend forecasts)
- Business Unit Support: Support various business units to advance key areas, including:
- Monitor sports betting operator marketing ecosystem, working closely in collaboration with the NFL Partnerships team and legal
- Manage Approved Sportsbook Operator partnerships, including creative review process and day-to-day management, as needed
- Coordinate interdependent commercial relationships between partnerships, licensing, and media
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of sports betting and the general sports landscape
- Takes time and pride in their career development
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and the ability to create compelling written communications for executive audiences

Terms /Expected Hours of Work:
NFL employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the office.
