The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach is a full-time position responsible for enabling student-athletes to perform to their physical potential in their sport through the development and management of individual and group weight, strength, and fitness training programs. This coach will develop programs by evaluating current physical conditioning, tailoring strength programs for specific needs, and demonstrating proper performance of exercises. The position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Performance. To be considered for this position, candidates must be certified as a strength and conditioning specialist.

Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree required; master’s degree preferred.
Certifications:
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or
- Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa)
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
Experience: Three or more years of demonstrated success in strength and conditioning at the high school and/or collegiate level. Experience implementing Velocity-Based Training (VBT) technology and programming preferred.
