Position: Facilities Maintenance Assistant-Part-Time
 

Primary Responsibilities: The Facilities Maintenance Assistant will support the Facilities Director in the maintenance, service, and repair of various systems withing the clubhouse and associated facilities, including the pool.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical maintenance.
• Performing general manual labor tasks, such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining the clubhouse and surrounding facilities.
• Supporting HVAC system maintenance within the clubhouse and facilities.
• Undertaking additional tasks related to clubhouse maintenance as required.
• Communicating effectively with staff, members, and vendors.
• Practicing safe work habits and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Identifying and addressing safety hazards promptly and effectively.
• Reporting directly to the Facilities Director.

Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks with follow-through.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Up to $23 an hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Role Details:

• May require availability for late evenings, early mornings, holidays, and weekends.
• Non-Exempt position/ Hourly wage

Physical / Cognitive Activities: This description outlines the physical and mental demands of the role, allowing applicants to assess their ability to perform the job, with or without accommodations.  The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Maintenance Director with day-to-day clubhouse repair and maintenance activities.

Qualified candidates should be prepared to lift heavy items, up to 70 pounds, as part of their duties.
