Job Description
NBC Sports is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to join the CRM team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners to execute campaigns, develop actionable insights, and optimize CRM efforts to drive engagement and fandom.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end email production process through successful conceptualizing, coding, editing, QA, and deployment
Manage the approvals process and route previews to internal stakeholders and implement all revisions
Coordinate newsletter content, schedules and deployments across multiple brands
Monitor daily sends and troubleshoot technical issues related to coding, segmentation, rendering, and deployment
Assist in developing comprehensive reports detailing all key email marketing metrics including delivery, open rates, click rates, conversion, opt-out, and segmentation analysis
Work closely with creative project management and internal stakeholders to track and ensure assets and feedback are delivered on time
Identify email linking strategies to optimize the user experience
Summarize results of email campaigns, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to drive future optimization opportunities
Expert user of email service provider and customer data platform to create email automations and journeys, set up A/B tests, and build customer segments
Ensure that marketing materials comply with all brand and style guidelines
Assist in developing marketing plans to grow database
Support the Sr. Manager, Email Marketing with all projects related to this position
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Minimum of two (2+) years' experience in email marketing, CRM, or digital marketing
Experience with email platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Campaign, etc
Knowledge of marketing tactics and email best practices
Knowledge of Push and SMS
Desired Characteristics:
Proven understanding of audience segmentation, personalization, and customer journeys
Excellent written and verbal communication including strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with some project management experience
Works well under tight deadlines and a high-growth environment
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a curiosity to learn
