Job Description
Lead and mentor a team of Strategic Account Managers responsible for client discovery, media planning, campaign execution, and reporting across paid social and digital channels.
Drive overall account strategy, ensuring client objectives are met through innovative media plans, seamless execution, and data-driven optimizations.
Act as senior point of escalation for client relationships, ensuring proactive communication, high satisfaction, and long-term retention.
Partner with Sales leadership to shape go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and client proposals across NBC Sports Next offerings.
Oversee development and delivery of strategic media recommendations and performance recaps, ensuring insights and optimizations are actionable and tied to business outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance) to drive scalable processes, campaign effectiveness, and operational excellence.
Ensure flawless execution of media campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, and emerging channels, while maintaining alignment with revenue goals and KPIs.
Champion best practices in campaign setup, delivery, and reporting to maximize efficiency and performance across high-volume partner activations.
Guide development of client-facing materials, including presentations, reporting decks, and performance recaps, ensuring they are compelling, on-brand, and strategically aligned.
Own resource planning, prioritization, and workflow management to balance competing client demands and internal initiatives.
Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization, ensuring Sales and client teams are educated on NBC Sports Next products, capabilities, and case studies.
Partner with Finance and Operations teams to resolve billing inquiries, streamline campaign lifecycle processes, and ensure accuracy in revenue recognition.
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in digital media, paid social, or account management, including at least 3 years managing and developing high-performing teams.
Strong expertise in digital media strategy and campaign execution across paid social and programmatic platforms.
Proven track record of driving client satisfaction and retention through strategic account management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives.
Ability to translate client objectives into actionable media strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive strategic decision-making.
Familiarity with ad serving platforms (e.g., GAM), CRM systems, and digital marketing tools is a plus.
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
