Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The Coordinator of Peacock Programming will be responsible for the following:

AirTable and Compass scheduling for all NBC Sports Digital programming

Work across groups to ensure accuracy of details for all NBC Sports live events across a variety of platforms – including dates, times, networks, sources and routing, exclusivities and replay requirements.
Support and coordinate in the building of live streams for the NBC Sports App, including contingencies and execution plans
Provide scheduling support for NBC Sports Network and implement programming plans for a 24/7 sports network that adhere to specific guidelines
Communicate all scheduling plans and changes across various groups at NBC Sports
Track all sports programming hours across platforms and communicate the hours counts across various departments within NBC Sports

Additional Responsibilities

Provide support on the weekend to account for programming changes, cancellations, weather delays and operational issues
Provide event logos, artwork and copy for all live events across platforms
Research for descriptions of live streaming events
Work across several platforms and content management systems while maintaining a strong attention to detail

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in media, communications, finance, accounting, business, or related fields; or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on proficiency with Excel

Desired Characteristics:

Relevant work experience is a plus
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
Keen interest in NBC Sports shows and properties
Knowledge and passion for sports and sports media
Understanding of coding language and syntax
Professional communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills
Adaptable to changing priorities and workloads
Detail and deadline oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any given time

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
