Job Summary
The Community Engagement Specialist plays a key role in growing our park's visibility and driving revenue by actively connecting with the local community. This outgoing, people-oriented position focuses on building relationships, promoting our attractions, and securing group bookings (businesses, schools/field trips, birthday parties, and events). You'll represent Altitude Trampoline Park at community events, identify partnership opportunities, and turn interactions into real business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend local community events, fairs, school functions, chamber of commerce meetings, and other gatherings with information tables, promotional materials, and interactive guest engagement activities (e.g., mini-games, giveaways, or demos) to promote the park and attract visitors.
- Proactively seek out and pursue opportunities to engage with schools, businesses, non-profits, youth organizations, sports teams, and other groups to drive traffic and bookings.
- Book group events, including corporate outings, field trips, birthday parties, team-building sessions, and other special reservations; follow up on leads to convert interest into confirmed bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, event organizers, educators, and local businesses to create ongoing referral sources and collaborations.
- Represent the park positively in all interactions, highlighting our attractions, safety standards, and fun atmosphere to generate excitement and inquiries.
- Track leads, bookings, and outcomes; report on community engagement efforts and their impact on park revenue.
- Assist with on-site promotion or events as needed, including helping with party coordination or group check-ins during peak times.
- Stay informed about local events, community calendars, and networking opportunities in the Bradenton-Sarasota area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, event promotion, community outreach, or group booking (e.g., party planning, school coordination, or hospitality) is a plus.
- Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable speaking to groups, networking, and engaging strangers.
- Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently while identifying and pursuing opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills to manage leads, schedules, and follow-ups.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to attend evening/weekend community events.
- Enthusiasm for fun, active environments and working with families, kids, and groups.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., email, Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, CRM or booking systems).
