Company Description

The Category Space Analyst plays a key role in strengthening Red Bull's market presence through activities such as market analysis, product distribution and placement, and optimizing shelf space at various retailers across the United States. This position requires the use of tools like IRI, Shopper/Category insights, and Retailer/Distributor data to develop profitable planograms, maintain up-to-date planogram information, and provide analysis for field execution.

Job Description

PROVIDES INSIGHTFUL PLANOGRAM SUPPORT TO RETAIL CUSTOMERS

Collaborate with Category Development Managers and Analysts to create fact-based planogram recommendations for Red Bull's strategic accounts within each Business Unit.

Analyze data to craft narratives, draw meaningful conclusions, identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and assess the impact on strategic accounts.

Support or independently lead retail meetings alongside Category Development Managers to discuss space planning methodologies and processes.

Oversee and execute planogram reset projects for accounts by ensuring accurate timelines and resource allocation, in coordination with external vendors.

DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN SPACE PLANNING RESEARCH AND RESOURCES

Create insightful and schematic presentations using both external and internal data to support thought leadership within the field.

Manage data-driven tools to track category growth information for each Red Bull account.

Perform research and analysis on space planning, presenting recommendations to the Business Insights Team.

Develop and manage the Space Planning Tools suite, including product and image libraries, JDA tables, labels, highlights, and a space optimization calculator.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in product merchandising, space planning software, or related fields.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data sets into meaningful and actionable recommendations.

Skilled in integrating multiple tools to address challenges effectively.

Preferable experience with syndicated data tools such as IRI, NITRO, or Nielsen Answers CORE.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the capability to present internally and externally to retailers.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Ability to identify new opportunities to support key initiatives and enhance existing processes.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact across all organizational levels, from field personnel to executive management.

Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is preferred.

JDA Space Planning Certification preferred but not required.

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - 100,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
