Job Description:

Job Summary

Salisbury University is seeking a qualified individual to assist the Head Coach with all aspects of leading a competitive NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball program. This full-time (C2) assistant coaching position requires a strong commitment to the holistic development of student-athletes, including on-court preparation, academic achievement, and active community involvement. The successful candidate will support the program while ensuring strict adherence to NCAA Division III bylaws and the standards of Salisbury University Athletics.

Authority and Accountability

This position reports to the Head Women’s Basketball coach and ultimately to the Director of Athletics.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

· Demonstrated experience working with college student-athletes, preferably in a collegiate athletic setting

· Strong foundational knowledge of NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball rules, regulations, and compliance standards

· Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Outstanding time management skills with exceptional attention to detail

· Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture focused on student-athlete development both on and off the court

Preferred Qualifications

First Aid/CPR

Strong computer skills, experience with software related to recruitment of prospective student-athletes (Teamworks/ARMS, FrontRush)

Additional Job Information:

The position is a Contingent II, full-time), (exempt) position.
