QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of sixty college hours from an accredited college or university is required.
- A valid Missouri Teaching Certificate is preferred.
- Possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and physical attributes necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Activities Director
JOB GOAL: To help each participating student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and an increased level of self-esteem.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITES:
- Organize and hold flag/auxiliary tryouts and select flag corps members.
- Attend all band camp rehearsals and summer band camp.
- Write all flag routines and coordinate them with the band director and the half time show.
- Coordinate and attend all flag performances at home football games.
- Provide routines and performance opportunities for four basketball games.
- Attend Snake Saturday, Gladfest and homecoming parades.
- Responsible for all flag equipment and uniforms.
- Adheres to good safety practices.
- Demonstrates effective human relations and communication skills.
- Adheres to all district rules, regulations and policies.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
