About the role
The Talent Program Manager will be responsible for designing and delivering talent programs and products that build high-performing teams across Tennis Australia. This is a project management-heavy role that will lead the development of frameworks, tools, guides, training, and resources to support the People team, leaders, and team members. A key focus will be on workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management cycles, delivered through scalable solutions and supported by strong change management practices. The role will also manage the Talent and Performance modules in Workday and drive continuous improvements beyond the initial rollout.
Reporting to the Director, Organisation Development & Talent, in this role you will:
Design and deliver a comprehensive talent strategy aligned to organisational priorities.
Ensure the strategy includes workforce planning, succession planning, performance management cycles, and leadership capability development.
Lead end-to-end delivery of talent initiatives as structured projects, including scoping, timelines, milestones, and risk management.
Influence and coach people team to enable them to support leaders to embrace talent practices
Partner with Learning & Development to design training programs that build leadership capability and support performance cycles.
Lead the optimisation of the Talent and Performance modules in Workday to support all talent processes and provide accurate insights for workforce planning, succession, and performance cycles.
Identify and implement continuous improvements for talent programs beyond Year 1 to ensure scalability and future readiness.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Significant experience in project management, with a proven ability to deliver complex talent initiatives end-to-end, including scoping, timelines, milestones, and risk management.
Expertise in designing and implementing talent strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management cycles.
Strong capability in creating content and processes, and developing training programs that build leadership and team capability.
Systems knowledge, particularly Workday Talent and Performance modules, with experience in configuration and optimisation.
Familiarity with change management principles and the ability to influence and coach stakeholders to adopt new practices.
A mindset for continuous improvement, ensuring talent programs remain relevant and impactful beyond the first year.
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
