About the role
We are seeking a Senior React Native Developer (AO) to contribute to the evolution of our mobile app systems, playing a pivotal role in our technology-driven endeavours. This role holds the critical responsibility of shaping our front-end technology landscape.
You will be a key contributor in the development of software and applications, spanning multiple platforms, including but not limited to the Australian Open and Elite Player Mobile App platforms.
In this role, you will:
Develop and maintenance of the Australian Open Tennis mobile application using React Native and Full Stack development in strategic backend technologies
Maintain high-quality code practices, conduct regular code reviews, and implement best practices for code maintainability and scalability
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, scrum masters, QA testers, release management, and operations teams, to ensure project objectives are met
Act as the technical point of contact for project-related discussions with clients or partners
Uphold Agile methodologies in project development, contributing to efficient project delivery
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions for system enhancement
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Extensive experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer with a proven ability to design and develop complex mobile applications
Proficiency in React Native development and full-stack development principles with in-depth knowledge of React Native and its ecosystem
Strong expertise in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and related technologies
Familiarity with modern front-end development tools and libraries (e.g., Redux, Webpack)
Extensive experience with source control management systems (e.g., Git)
Strong knowledge of RESTful, Graph and Websocket API design and integration and experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
