About the role
The Senior National Development Squad (NDS) Physical Performance Coach will be responsible for assisting in directing the overall physical development of assigned NDS athletes and players in the National Player Support Program (NPSP) in the National Development Squads in Queensland.
The role will be responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring of individualised strength and conditioning programs for National Development Program (NDP) players, and will lead the coordination of relevant ancillary sport science support. Effective communication with all key stakeholders involved in delivering programs to both National Development Squad and NPSP players is an essential requirement of this position.
The appointment will form part of Tennis Australia’s physical performance team and should help to grow the integration of strength and conditioning at all player development levels within the sport. This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity commencing August 2026 until February 2027.
