About the role 

 

The Player Experience Coordinator – Accreditation & Ticketing, will play a critical role in coordinating the Player Accreditation & Ticketing function along with providing operational and strategic expertise and assistance across the entire Australian Open player experience. This is a full-time, max-term role.  

 

Reporting to the Player Operations & Experience Manager, you will:  

  • Partner with key stakeholders to shape and deliver the Player Experience Strategy. 

  • Design, coordinate and continuously improve accreditation and ticketing processes for players at the Australian Open. 

  • Develop and implement accreditation policies for players and affiliated groups. 

  • Collaborate with internal departments to advocate for player and entourage needs across operations. 

  • Review and streamline player communication channels (WhatsApp, email, app notifications) to improve clarity and reduce information overload. 

 
About you 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:  

  • Excellent administrative skills with a high attention to detail.  

  • Strong knowledge of Tennis, including tournament format and players.

  • Ability to organise and prioritise conflicting tasks to meet deadlines whilst achieving high quality outcomes. 

  • Previous experience and knowledge in event management or sports administration. 

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in situations requiring complex decision making. 

  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check 

  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
