People and Culture Advisor – Full Time 13 month contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a People and Culture Advisor to join our Employee Experience team on a 13-month parental leave cover, commencing in December 2025.

The Role:

  • Responsible for partnering with key business units, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering an exceptional employee experience across Cricket Victoria.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection, ensuring alignment with CV’s Ideals and strategic workforce needs
  • Enhance employee experience across the lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding—using data to inform insights and recommend improvements.
  • Support talent management, succession planning, and learning & development initiatives.
  • Contribute to organisational change, including restructures and policy implementation.
  • Support employee engagement survey action planning.
  • Lead health & wellbeing, social, and staff benefit programs.
  • Act as WHS Committee Secretary and coordinate WHS activities including return-to-work and Workers’ Compensation.

About You:

  • Experience in HR/People & Culture, with a track record of excellent delivery and outcomes
  • Ability to work with pace and precision – you get things done
  • Strong relationship builder who people trust and respect
  • Ability to synthesise business insights and recommend appropriate action.
  • A collaborative, inclusive approach and a sense of fun
  • Passion for sport or community is a bonus (no need to be able to bowl a yorker, though!)
  • Working With Children Check (Employee)
