P/T Golf Cart Attendant

This position is responsible for cleaning out the golf carts after the golfer(s) complete their round. The golf cart attendant may also be responsible for putting gas in the carts.  This position will also require “picking up” the range balls, placing them in the range ball machine, and filling the “range baskets” and at times placing them at each tee station.  There may also be some Starting and Ranger duties.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  (All responsibilities may not be performed by all incumbents.)
 
Fills sand bottles on the carts, putting new scorecards on the carts and washing the carts.
 
Keeps the cart storage room and cart staging area neat and clean.
 
Performs janitorial duties around the cart staging area and takes the trash to the dumpster.
 
Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.
 
This is a safety sensitive position.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
 
Cleaning agents, Rags, Water and hoses.
 
Ability to drive the golf care

Ability to read and write and communicate with membership.
 
Ability to prioritize work load.
 
Ability to carry up to 30 pounds.
 
Must be able to work 2 to 3 days a week Monday through Sunday 
 
Able to work (9hrs) 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm on scheduled day.
 
Possibility of a 4 day/5 hour set schedule shift availability (must be approved prior to hire)
 
Set schedule possible.
 
Must possess physical and mental ability to work independently

Valid Class C driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), criminal history background check, drug screen..
