Falcon’s Fire Golf Club is hiring a Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team!
Pay: $16 an hour
Hours: Typical shift is from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with variations based on banquet events.

Job purpose
Prepare food as directed by the Executive Chef or General Manager of the club. Cooks to order in a timely manner and issues to servers as ordered based on details provided by recipe cards to ensure menu plate consistency, i.e. preparation, portioning and garnishing of foods. Provide excellence in product and maintains cost controls.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to the menu and recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Responsible for the quality of products served.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to Club standards.
- Set up and maintain workstations with all necessary supplies.
- Assist in prepping ingredients for daily operations, including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Executive Chef or General Manager.
- Receives and checks food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms i.e. inspect the condition of contents, checks against invoices & orders, and freshness of product. Stores new and reuse products at proper temperatures and proper wrappings.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Properly store and organize clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist with general kitchen maintenance and cleaning duties, including floors, counters, and trash rmoval.
- Complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Executive Chef or General Manager.
- Protect the assets of the Club.
- Operate within the guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints established by Hampton Golf.
- Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
