About the role

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of leadership and organisational capability at Tennis Australia.

As Learning & Leadership Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in influencing how leaders lead, how teams perform, and how strategy comes to life across Tennis Australia and our Member Associations. • Shape and lead Tennis Australia’s enterprisewide leadership and learning strategy, aligned to Tennis 2030 and future capability needs
  • Design and build fitforpurpose leadership frameworks, pathways and playbooks that embed expectations into everyday ways of working
  • Design and facilitate highimpact leadership and team development experiences across all leadership levels
  • Partner closely with People Partners and leaders to diagnose capability gaps and deliver solutions that measurably lift performance

  • Ensure learning investment delivers value through strong evaluation, continuous improvement and ROI focus
  • Build strong partnerships with external providers to deliver innovative, highquality learning solutions
  • Support leadership, learning and compliance needs across the organisation, including major events such as the Australian Open

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating leadership and organisational development programs in large, complex or matrixed organisations.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in learning and development, with a strong focus on leadership development.
  • Proven ability to influence senior and executive leaders without formal authority.
  • A strong systems mindset, with the ability to design connected learning ecosystems rather than standalone programs.
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, leadership development and organisational effectiveness.
  • High personal credibility, presence and confidence facilitating with senior leaders.
  • A mindset for continuous improvement, ensuring talent programs remain relevant and impactful beyond the first year.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
