Join Our Coaching Staff!
The Upper Perkiomen School District is seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our coaching staff. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about mentoring student-athletes, fostering teamwork, and promoting personal growth through sports.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of sport-specific rules and gameplay (e.g., soccer or basketball).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare student-athletes both physically and mentally for practices and competitions, with a focus on skill development and understanding of the game.
- Support the growth and organization of the athletic program.
- Lead and attend practices and games on weekday evenings and Saturdays.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, fellow coaches, faculty, and school administration.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment during practices, games, locker room activities, and transportation.
- Complete and submit all necessary documentation by deadlines set by the Athletic Department.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
All applicants must complete the following prior to employment:
- PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
- School Personnel Health Form (including Physical and TB test)
- PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
