Boar’s Head Resort is a premier luxury destination nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, delivering exceptional service and timeless Southern hospitality. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Houseperson to support our housekeeping team in maintaining the impeccable standards our guests expect. This role is vital to ensuring a seamless guest experience in a refined and elegant environment. 

As a Housekeeping Houseperson, you will be responsible for supporting the cleanliness and readiness of our guest accommodations and public spaces. You will assist the housekeeping team by preparing supply closets, removing soiled linens and trash, cleaning assigned areas, and responding promptly to requests. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to excellence will help us uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury. 

•  Stock housekeeper closets with fresh linens, towels, and guest supplies.
• Remove soiled linens and trash from guest rooms and hallways in a timely manner.
• Dust, clean and organize housekeeping closets, balconies, stairwells, and assigned entrances.
• Ensure hallway glass doors and glassware in closets are spotless and polished daily.
• Vacuum and dust hallways and stairwells to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Strip guest rooms of linens and trash upon checkout to support room readiness.
• Place cribs and other requested amenities in guest rooms as needed.
• Respond promptly and courteously to radio calls and guest service requests.
• Maintain an orderly and secure work environment, ensuring all supplies are stored safely and properly.
• Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment while maintaining grace under pressure.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, with the ability to work rotating shifts.
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• A proactive approach to guest needs and commitment to outstanding service.

Desirable:

• Previous housekeeping or support experience in a Four Diamond or Forbes-rated property.
• Familiarity with luxury service standards and resort operations.
