About Us

At the City of Port Adelaide Enfield (PAE), we’re building a welcoming, liveable city, made by people.

Our focus is on community, our economy, environmental sustainability and building high-quality places for people to enjoy. We’re on an ambitious trajectory, but our organisation is up for the challenge.

At PAE, we’re involved in all sorts of things - major construction through to environmental management, organising events, social infrastructure planning and library services. We are proud of offering a wide range of accessible services and programs to our community.

You don’t need experience in local government for this role – we’re looking for transferrable skills and a great attitude!

Now’s a great time to be part of PAE.

About the Role

The role is hands‑on and community‑facing. You’ll work outdoors as part of a supportive team to provide high quality outcomes for the community.

About You

  • Experience working on and maintaining golf courses is essential.
  • AQF Certificate III in Turf Management is desirable.
  • You hold a current Australian driver’s license; MR license is desirable.
  • You communicate clearly, listen and engage positively with members of the public, contractors and colleagues.
  • You take pride in delivering high‑quality outcomes and understand that your work directly impacts how people experience their city every day.
  • You’re approachable, cooperative and contribute positively to a team culture where people support one another and get the job done safely.
  • You think ahead, adapt to changing conditions (including weather events) and make considered decisions in the field.
  • Your reliable and all interactions are respectful.

This is a Grade 1-3 position (depending on qualification) which has a current salary range of $84,128 - $88,018 per annum plus Super.
