Are you passionate about harnessing the power of sport to deliver incredible social impact?
We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as our Head of Cricket Victoria (CV) Foundation. This position will be responsible for driving the CV Foundation mission and purpose â to harness the passion for Victoria cricket to make a positive impact on society.
Reporting to the General Manager â Communications and Stakeholder Relations, this position will source and oversee partnerships, programmatic delivery and foster a culture of philanthropy in collaboration with the Foundationâs Advisory Group.
đȘWhat Youâll Be Doing:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the CV Foundation including donor sourcing, program conception and delivery, partnership management and integration with CVâs business as usual.
- Demonstrate an ability to connect to a culture of philanthropy and the benefits of social impact supporting our three key pillars: Women and Girls, First Nations people and All Abilities Cricket.
- Deliver CVâs National Cricket Inclusion Championships and National Indigenous Cricket Championships alongside your team.
- Support your team in the strategy and implementation of CVâs Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement program to increase participation and cultural understanding and connection.
- Develop a sustainable fundraising strategy for the CV Foundation with an emphasis on systems and strategy re Major Gifts; Private Ancillary Funds, Trusts & Foundations; Corporate Partnerships via Corporate Social Responsibility Programs.
- Oversee active identification, stewardship and appropriate gift solicitation of major donors and benefactors.
- Identify and engage commercial partners to increase scale of the CV Foundation.
- Work with media and communications team to drive awareness across digital channels, mainstream media and local media.
- Work with events team to develop and manage events as required to foster and grow awareness.
- Build and maintain an appropriate fundraising/community relations database on Salesforce.
- Raise awareness of the âwhole-of-organisationalâ approach to successful philanthropy.

đŻWhat Youâll Bring:
- Experience working within a philanthropic, sporting, community or similar organisation
- Strong understanding of cases for support, partner value propositions and how to implement a social impact strategy which delivers measurable outcomes
- Experience in designing and implementing social impact strategies supported by donors
- Experience in managing the lifecycle of partnerships from acquisition to renewal
- Prior experience managing teams and engaging in a board/committees and C-suite environment
- Experience in developing and managing fundraising strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Exceptional organisational and management skills with the ability to implement and drive strategies
- Valid Victorian Employee Working with Childrenâs Check (or arranged upon appointment)
