Job Description:

  • Oversees the management, coaching, and development of the team.
  • Institutes practice plans and game management.
  • Assist with hiring process of varsity assistants and sub- varsity staff (when applicable).
  • Performs other specific duties as directed by the Director of Athletics

Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Outstanding organization.
  • Exemplifies Marlborough High’s core values and mission, both on and off the field.
  • Flexible schedule capable of accommodating time demands of position.
  • Game and Rule knowledge.
  • Previous coaching and/or playing experience (minimum high school level).
  • Offers are subject to passing all State and Federal background check requirements and the submission of a completed Certificate of Medical Examination.

Stipends are contingent upon the sport season happening in the 2026-27 School Year. If a sport is cancelled in full, there will be no stipend paid.  If a sport is cancelled in part, a stipend may be pro-rated depending on the length of time of the cancellation.
