Golf Services Attendant

Augusta Country Club is a privately owned club with golf, tennis, fitness, and swim facilities in Augusta, GA. We are currently seeking servers that can create a positive, memorable experience for members and their guests. The ideal candidates will be customer service oriented, attentive, polite, courteous and able to interact with members in a professional manner. Dependability is a must.

Specific Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist members in their golfing needs.
• Check all areas for trash.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Sweep out bathroom and golf bag storage area.
• Fold all towels from laundry room.
• Check all carts to leave the facility for sand, towels, scorecard, pencil, water, etc.
• Clean and dry all golf carts that are used for the day.
• Hose off the golf car cleaning area and make sure the drain is clear.
• Roll up hose.
• Check the bag drop area, staging area, practice facilities, and golf shop for random bags, clubs, or other personal belongings.
• Must be responsible for the care of members belongings.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.

• Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.

• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.

• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.

• Frequent repetitive motions.

• Continuous standing and walking.
