Golf Services Assistant

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a Golf Service Assistant!

Welcome to Aileron Golf Club at Sunseeker Resorts.  A Luxury Private Club - designed exclusively for our Resort Guests, where we are dedicated to building a world class golf experience.  Aileron is a Parkland style course located just minutes from our flagship resort on Charlotte Harbor. 

The Golf Services Assistant is responsible for – assisting the Professional Staff with all golf shop activities and is responsible for ensuring guests receive outstanding customer service, which meets or exceeds their expectations. The Golf Services Assistant will play an integral part in providing a memorable golf experience for our resort guests.

All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures. 

Job Duties

• Delivers and promotes prompt, outstanding service to all resort guests and legacy members.
• Stage pre-loaded golf carts for daily play. Confirm all beverage packages are loaded in staged carts.
• Prepares and maintains driving range, checking periodically throughout the day for restock and picking needs.
• Cordially greet incoming guests coming in from self-park and resort transportation.
• Load and unload golf bags from incoming and outgoing transportation.
• Tag inbound bags and store accordingly or promptly get to the staging area ready for play.
• Guide guests to designated facilities.
• Show awareness to where golfers are on property and anticipate the next course of action.
• Wash and detail each cart after each round played to ensure finest presentation.
• Count, clean and ensure all rental sets are accounted for after each round. Store accordingly.
• Always maintain cleanliness or orderliness of outside areas and employee restrooms.
• Empty trash when necessary as well as the end of the shift.
• Maneuver golf carts at a safe speed around the club and around guests always.
• Work in conjunction with the professional staff and starter. Communicate special requests to the team for added assistance.

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.  Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. 
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in private or resort club, preferably with golf background.
• Knowledge and an understanding of the game of golf.

Other Minimum Requirements

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to function well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
• Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment.
• Strong leadership abilities, sound judgment, superior problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
