Golf Cart Attendant

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Cart Attendant is responsible for providing carts for Members and guests while keeping all work areas clean, orderly, and safe. They greet Members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner while projecting a professional image. The Cart Attendant is also in charge of setting up the driving range every morning and closing it at night.

Responsibilities

· Deliver carts from the cart barn(s) to the daily staging area

· Ensure golf carts are clean, safe, and properly prepared with full sand bottles, pencil, scorecard, and tees.

· Perform periodic cart maintenance and special repair

· Assist Members and Guest as they depart from the facility

· Stage driving range in morning and close it in the evening

· Pick and clean all range balls and keep stocked and tidy all day long

· Work with Golf Shop staff to ensure that all club rules including dress code and beverage policies are followed by the Members and Guests.

1. Reports directly To: Assistant Professional

2. Also Works For: General Manager, Head Professional, First Assistant Pro, Assistant Pro

DIMENSIONS

WORK EXPERIENCE: Customer service experience. Basic Golf Knowledge Preferred.

EDUCATION: High school diploma preferred

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: n/a

BUDGET CONTROL/RESPONSIBILITY: n/a

This position pays hourly - $ 8.50

Job Requirements

· Prior golf course experience preferred

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
