SUMMARY
Repairs and maintains general plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical equipment. Promotes and follows LJBTC, Inc.'s Signature Service standards and requirements ensuring a lasting impression of exemplary service resulting in supremely satisfied and loyal members and guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
OUTCOME
The overall maintenance of the guest room and the facilities influence guest and co-employee impression of the total organization. Clean, well maintained guest rooms, facilities and equipment will contribute to guest comfort and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English to customers, managers, or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid California Drivers License and CFC recovery certificate.

INTERACTION
Employees in the position of engineering/grounds interact frequently with all the departments, tenants and guests. Employees must have the ability to communicate with the many departments along with designated guests.
SCHEDULING
This company operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. At times it may be necessary to move you from you accustomed schedule as task assignments demand. In addition, it should be understood that business needs determine the number of hours that you work.
