Position Overview
Director of Player development will assist with development of our student-athletes. Recruiting, retaining and developing high-achieving student athletes is imperative to the success of the Men's Basketball program and in turn the overall success of the athletics department.
Responsibilities
Assist in the recruiting, retaining and developing Student-Athletes
Aids in creating plans and programs for individual and team skill development
Works with student athletes in on-court settings to build and develop basketball skill
Provides administrative, instructional and coaching assistance to the Head Coach.
Fosters meaningful relationships and building trust with student-athletes, coordinating and implementing programs and initiatives
Other duties as assigned by head coach.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree of equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Able to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and staff
