🏏 Join the Melbourne Renegades or the Melbourne Stars for the upcoming 2025/26 season – We’re Hiring a Digital Content Specialist for each team!

Are you passionate about sport (in particular cricket), content creation and connecting fans to the game they love?

Cricket Victoria is looking for passionate and highly creative Digital Content Specialists to support our two Big Bash clubs, Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars, and help bring our W/BBL brands to life through our digital and social channels, not only during the season but also in the lead up to what is expected to be one of our most exciting seasons yet!

In these rare positions, you’ll have the opportunity to maximise fan engagement for either club through the creation of digital content for their social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube) and their websites. You’ll have the opportunity to influence their brand awareness and work behind the scenes alongside the players to bring their members and fans exclusive insights into the upcoming season.

These are fixed term (full-time) positions from late September/early October 2025 through to the end of January/early January 2026.

💪What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the creation and delivery of content for all social media channels

• Attend matches, club events, training sessions and commercial sponsor activities to produce content

• Support the marketing and membership teams in the promotion of ticketing and membership packages

• Assist in drafting, uploading and creating copy for club websites and eDMs (using Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

• Generate social media reports and advice using analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities

• Manage W/BBL stadium concourses and post-match giveaways, autographs and ‘money can’t buy’ experience

🎯What You’ll Bring:

• A passion for creating innovative, eye-catching content

• Established knowledge and proficiency in social media management and content production, with an emphasis on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube (as well as Facebook and Twitter)

• Strong understanding of cricket and an ability to work in a professional manner with high profile athletes

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, eDMs, CMS and VMS skills Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and outside standard hours, including weekends and public holidays throughout the festive season

• Experience working within a similar position within a sporting environment or alike
