Digital Content Specialist – Premier Cricket

Cricket Victoria is looking for a passionate and highly creative Digital Content Specialist to support our Premier Cricket department to maximise our audience engagement for the upcoming Premier Cricket season through the creation of digital content across all our social media channels and website.

This is a fixed term part-time 2 days a week position from late September 2025 through to mid-April 2026.

💪What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the content creation for the Premier Cricket website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts.
• Create content that highlights and increases awareness of Cricket Victoria’s Talent Pathway Programs, both male and female.
• Attend Premier Cricket matches, events, training sessions and commercial sponsor activities to produce content.
• Assist Cricket Victoria’s Digital team in drafting stakeholder eDMs
• Create social media reports and manage social media analytics tools
• Drive the creation and distribution of media releases
• Support generating PR and media opportunities throughout the season
• Monitor media coverage and recommending relevant responses

🎯What You’ll Bring:

• A passion for creating innovative, eye-catching content
• Established knowledge and proficiency in social media management and content production, with an emphasis on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
• Strong understanding of cricket in general and Premier Cricket in particular
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and eDMs
• Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and outside standard hours, including weekends and public holidays throughout the festive season
• Experience working within a similar position within a sporting environment or alike
