What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who is passionate about customer excellence and has the skills to make an impact. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Member Services and Support specialist to join our dedicated team. This role involves working closely with individual members at the front desk and leading administrative support behind the scenes. The ideal candidate should share our values and have a strong commitment to helping others achieve their personal best.

Key Qualifications include:

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, front desk operations, or a related field.
  • Experience with gym management software, scheduling systems, or equivalent POS platforms is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of member relations, billing inquiries, and facility operations.
  • Experience with personal and group communication, preferably in a fitness or athletic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with members.
  • A creative and flexible approach to problem-solving and member retention.
  • Ability to work both part-time and transition to full-time as demand increases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with members and team members.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset to address the unique needs of each client.
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and high-energy front-of-house environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Member Services and Support specialist at Pure Athletex, you’ll play a key role in supporting athletes on their journey to success. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support Member Journeys: Design seamless onboarding experiences for new members, focusing on outstanding service and facility tours.
  • Grow the Community: As our support department is still in its growth stages, the specialist needs to have and exhibit the desire to help build the “book of business” for this center, which will include the active participation in prospecting and the continual efforts to look for more membership opportunities.
  • Lead Front Desk Operations: Run daily check-ins for athletes from all sports and also adults, focusing on core administrative skills like scheduling, answering inquiries, and phone management.
  • Work with Coaches: Collaborate with our team of tennis and basketball coaches to enhance athlete scheduling and program registration.
  • Expand to New Audiences: Develop outreach strategies to attract members from different sports and partner with local teams.
  • Track Member Satisfaction: Monitor and adjust retention strategies through regular feedback, account management, and assessments.

Schedule and Other Details

Schedule:

  • Monday thru Saturday
  • Nights and Weekends do apply and the person applying has to be okay with working these time blocks.

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Wexford, PA 15090: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person
