ABOUT THE ROLE

Coach Educator Tutor and Developer is responsible for elevating the standard of Football coaching throughout Australia. This role involves designing and delivering educational programs that equip coaches with the necessary skills and knowledge to foster player development and promote participation. By working collaboratively with Member Federations and other stakeholders, the Coach Educator Tutor and Developer will ensure coaching practices align with national standards and contribute to a cohesive Football ecosystem. This position is integral to Football Australia’s strategy to effectively control, organise, promote, grow, and administer Football on a national scale.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Deliver structured coach education programs, including Diploma courses, online learning, and practical workshops.
• Develop online modules for coach education courses to be housed on the Football Australia Learning Centre.
• Develop online modules for CPD to be housed on the Football Australia Learning Centre
• Develop face to face content for coach education courses.
• Organisation, mapping and development of the AFC/FA Pro & A Diploma with consultation with other MAs.
• Work with Member Federations to identify, develop and onboard coach educator tutors around Australia.

ABOUT YOU

Experience, Skills and Qualifications: 

• Experience in coaching education, training, or development.
• Strong knowledge of FIFA, AFC, UEFA and Football Australia coaching accreditation systems.
• Ability to deliver structured coach education programs.
• Ability to assess coach competency.
• Experience in mentoring and developing coaches at all levels.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in learning management systems and online education tools.
• Coaching experience at a national or international level.
• Experience in curriculum development for coaching programs.
• Tertiary qualification in sports management or education.

Additional Requirements: 

• Full working rights in Australia
• Working with children check (paid/employee) or state-based equivalent 
• International Criminal History Record for each country (other than Australia) in which you have resided for 12 months or more in the last 10 years (if applicable)
• Out of hours and weekend work as required
