About the role

Tennis World programs include delivering coaching lessons targeted for skill development, social interaction and personal achievement to foster a lifelong enjoyment of tennis. Delivery of the coaching program includes a range of classes including Tennis Hot Shots, Junior Development, and Group Social lessons through to Performance pathways.

  • Deliver quality coaching programs in all lessons as directed by the Coaching Program Lead or Senior Coach.
  • Provide opportunities for student progression and skill development through a range of learning and feedback methods.
  • Actively involve all students on court and identify areas of improvement or skill development.
  • Provide effective communication to coaching participants both on and off the court and ensure correct communication procedures are followed.
  • Offer recommendations to support the overall wellbeing of the commercial viability of Tennis World.


About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Prior tennis coaching experience across a range of age groups & skill levels (pre-school through to adults)
  • Proven knowledge of technique and on-court decision-making strategies
  • Good understanding of Tennis products and brands, in particular Racquets and string specifications
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
