Bull Durham Bar Server

Responsibilities:

  • Uses standard recipes for all prescribed drinks and is able to pour a proper shot for all drinks.
  • Pour all wines and beers as prescribed in specifications.
  • Maintains liquor, wine, and beer control whenever he/she is on duty.
  • Handles money and follows approved cashiering procedures.
  • Properly cleans ice bins, sinks, refrigerators, liquor guns, etc.
  • Ensures bar is stocked with ice, glassware, and other supplies, as well as liquor, wine, and beer obtained from their respective storerooms.
  • Ensures proper rotation of inventory and assists in maintenance of liquor storage room.
  • Assists service manager in scheduling and organizing deep-cleans and ensures cleanliness of area at all times.
  • Participates in development and maintenance of drink book and specialty and event cocktails.
  • Performs restaurant server duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of bartending or restaurant server experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Developed English language skills (both written and orally) to communicate with other employees, guests, or vendors as needed.
  • Walking or standing to a significant degree.
